Wow...it doesn't take long before things go south. God is good. The first two chapters explode with His generosity. God made Paradise and handed the keys to Adam. Just one simple restriction. He was kept from one tree among an earth-full. Adam ignores the billboards of God's generosity and only sees God's infinitely small restriction. And the results are disastrous...catastrophic...global...eternal! But read to the end ... there's always hope (4:26)!

I love the grace God shows in Genesis 3:21 - right in the middle of all the consequences of sin. Right away, His kindness is displayed to lead us to repentance and back to Him.
