God is the uber Promise-Keeper. The first verse we encounter today is: "The Lord came to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised." When you read ch. 22 you will encounter one of the most poignant and memorable stories in the OT. And it is a big arrow pointing to Jesus. Ponder this one awhile today. "The Lord will provide!"
