Proverbs 7

Read this story with a bit of fear and trembling.  How can you keep from being the pitiful main character?  Follow the advice of the very first verse!

My son, obey my words.
Keep my commands and live;
protect my teachings
as the pupil of your eye.

Read it here.

  1. Better to protect your pupil than to end up like the one described later:

    Proverbs 30:17

    The eye that mocks a father
    and scorns to obey a mother
    will be picked out by the ravens of the valley
    and eaten by the vultures.

    I wrote about this a little below.
