Hezekiah demonstrates faithful trust in Yahweh. His humble prayer is a model of dependency. But toward the end of his life he demonstrates that he is still a fallen man. The world still awaited a truly good King.
I remember Paul Sabino preaching on Hezekiah when we went through Isaiah. I remember him saying that some Christians live too long. May that not be said of any of us. May our lives also testify to the fact that without Christ and God's mercy and grace, we too would go the regular way of the earth in every and any thing.
