Read all of Ruth in one sitting. It isn't long. And it is an epic tale. This woman of God became the great, great, ... grandmother to Jesus (Matthew 1:5). What a heritage!
What a great message of redemption. A women widowed and late in life coming to Christ finding a redeeming husband by whom she is blessed with children. Driscoll preached a series a few years back called "The Redemption of Ruth" that was fantastic at fleshing out Boaz as a foreshadowing of Christ as our glorious Redeemer.
